Our Goal
Our goal is to provide relief service, rehabilitation and resettlement assistance which will lead to self-reliance of those who are victims of disaster and needy peoples in the horn of Africa.
Objectives
ORA’s main objectives primarily focus:
- On providing relief, rehabilitation and resettlement aids to internally displaced and returnee refugees from neighboring countries,
- On providing education and training in small scale production to promote self-help activities that would enable the recipients self-sustained society;
- Sensitizing Oromo nationals at home and abroad to their moral obligation to alleviate human suffering, to address its root causes and to further social justice.
- Encourage integration with our partners to promote knowledge on health care, first aid service and HIV AIDS among the resettled communities.
- Promote human rights and in particular the rights of the children and young people as well as the rights of underprivileged groups and communities.
